The Adam & Eve's Power Massager is a fantastic classic that any household should have. Naturally, the first thing most folks would like to do is ignore the warnings that advise against use in "sensitive areas" or on/near the genitalia. While this warning should be taken lightly, you shouldn't look at these big guns purely for sexual reasons.
Before the power massager even arrived we were comparing it to our tried-and-true Hitachi massager. The Hitachi name is recognized far and wide and (at least in this market), saying "Hitachi" instantly makes people think of the long-wand massager with the bulbous marshmallow head and power cord. When we opened the box, we found a product extremely similar to our Hitachi, different only in two ways: (1) The Adam & Eve massager has a red flexible collar where the head meets the base; Hitachi's is blue. (2) The switch on the Adam & Eve massager is slightly different, but still has the same two settings: low and high.
It was when we powered on both at the same time that our wonders of if this machine was a re-badged Hitachi were answered. Emitting the same audial frequencies, and vibrating at the exact same speeds for low/high, this is definitely the beloved classic Hitachi motor inside. For what it's worth, most places we've seen that sell both sell the Adam & Eve anywhere from $5-to-$20 dollars cheaper than the Hitachi. For the same motor, go Adam & Eve and save yourself the money!
When used for its intended purpose this thing is great. While it's extremely basic (two speeds only) and doesn't have the programmed pulsing and other variations that some other toys have, I'm willing to bet that most people won't find themselves missing that. This thing is strong and rather quiet for its speed. It feels great all over. That said, let's skip the all-over and talk about what we intend to use this thing for.
The power massager can be used in many ways. There are attachable heads for it for internal/external stimulation, you can use it purely externally, or you could even combine it with your favourite hard-toy (Pyrex, plastic, etc) and use it on the end of that toy to provide an even more intense vibration. From your own solo-session to couples and group play, you'll also recognize this massager instantly if you've ever viewed any forced-orgasm clips.
This toy comes highly suggested, but we will forewarn you the only two downsides: (1) Lack of battery ability means you're close to a wall or bringing a small extension cord. I can't imagine how quickly such a strong motor would kill batteries though, so this is easy to accept. (2) It can be too powerful for some folks at first, and you may have to invest some time into "learning" how much you or your partner can handle. That said, this type of "research" is highly rewarding, and I can't imagine anyone complaining about it at all!
