First off, I just wanna say that “Andre Madness” is a fuckin’ fantastic name for a director. I would pretty much do whatever a guy named Andre Madness told me to. Secondly, I am as surprised as you are that there’s a whole series of flicks- this is the 12th one, for chrissakes-made specifically for the guys that liked the first part of the ZZ Top and Van Halen videos in the 80’s better than the second part. You know, when the librarian or the shoe store girl suddenly gets sluttified? Well, the bits when they’re still frumpy and four-eyed is what this series is all about. I get goddamned all the time, but I gotta admit to being double goddamned here.
Specs Appeal is loaded with gags and pithy storylines, which is either fun or it’s not, depending on yr temperament. Me, I can only take jivey-jivey jokes like “She likes to masturbate with Jalepenos and fiddle why she burns” (violin teacher, ya know) for so long, before I’m ready to hit somebody with glasses, no problem. So, briefly, Cassie Young –a statuesque blonde that looks more like a model that a porn star- is the violin teacher, Tony Tedishi is her horny student, and after a prolonged explanation of all this, they finally sink down to the stink. I gotta hand it to Cassie, she plays up the nerdy chick angle all the way, making this a pretty sexy fantasy sequence. “Yeah”, I hear the 4-eye freaks yelping, “But does he cum on her glasses?” Yes. Yes, he cums on her glasses.
Aye yi yi- “Specs Appeal, please help me get under the skin of this dermatologist.” Anyway, as far as I can tell, Neveah Ashton always has a scowl on her face, so she’s perfectly suited for her role as the uppity, bespectacled skin doctor. Eventually, Steve Hatcher talks (and talks) her into a little bango tango right there on her desk. Again, despite the tiresome come-ons at the top of the scene, this one’s sexy as hell. I’m beginning to think Andre Madness is a very good director with a very bad script. I am borne out with another handful of hot smokin’ scenes- with impossibly pretty Hollie Stevens, improbably named Mariah Cherry, and the slightly, uh…dazed looking Taylor Lynn. Of course, the glasses are the least of my concerns, but sure, they all wear ‘em, they all get them gunked up at scene’s end, and most of them lick the cum right off. So you got that going for you. Me, I was quite impressed with Mr. Madness’s flair for shooting convincing, passionate sex scenes, and I’m actually lookin’ forward to seeing more of this cat’s work. Only not without all the fuckin’ jokes. Or the glasses. Onwards.
