For the average guy, porno should not be used as a device for learning, except maybe on a basic level of how to do certain positions. Typical pornos are focused toward guys and getting them off, done deal. But is real sex only that? Not according to the New Sex Now DVD. This DVD is for learning and not for getting off.
The idea of this DVD is to teach how to obtain a G-spot orgasm and how to have simultaneous orgasms with your partner. Your teacher is Arte, the founder of the New Sex Institute and a self-proclaimed sex expert. Arte goes through talking about the mental and physical aspects that all have to be aligned for your partner to have a G-spot orgasm. At points, Arte sounds very scientific with using words like “Penis” and “Vagina” not “cock” or “cunt” but then he talks to you like a bragging college roommate and the women he has banged.
Although I doubt his level of scientific knowledge, his shit still seems in order. Arte breaks down the method step-by-step that any idiot can follow. Some of his tips are simple and just common sense but others made me think and tuck away for later. I don’t know if it is because I had read my share of guy magazines talking about sex but most of the techniques weren’t new to me. I was saying “duh” and “no shit” a lot.
Since New Sex Now is only for learning, the nudity to far less than normal but sex can be found in this DVD but don’t buy it because of the awesome angles. The angles…well…one angle leaves a lot to the imagination as the camera sits like a homemade porno from a distance.
New Sex Now is a good learning tool if you know little about sex and only care about getting your load off and not that your lady has an orgasm. Even if you do give your lady an orgasm, Arte says that a G-spot orgasm is bigger and better. This DVD could help your sex life and even save it. The only advice I have would be for Arte to re-shoot the film for modern times instead of using a crappy transfer from VHS. How can “New Sex” look like it came from the early nineties when it is 2007?
I give New Sex Now an average rating because it had nudity and I learned some things that could help my sex life but it still could have been better like seeing the foot-long female orgasms Arte talked about, which I have seen in other porno flicks. Maybe Arte wanted to keep New Sex Now softcore so a wide range of couples can watch and learn, and not feel uncomfortable. Well whatever the case, this DVD was ok. Not bad but not great either.
